Full manual, then program if I need speed. Somtimes I'll play with Tv/Av, but I find using program and shifting works better for me.

Most of the time, P mode but I need to practice a bit more and start working in other modes when I am not taking pics of my son, he just doesn't hold still.

I've gone with full Manual from the start because I knew jumping right in would be the fastest way to learn.

Keeping myself from putting it into Auto forces me to learn my camera at a much more in-depth level and, I feel, helps separate being a photographer from being a Joe with a sweet camera

I'm such a control freak, I have to shoot in manual most of the time. Gotta have full control at all times. Normally, if I shoot in anything else I don't get the results I want.

Exceptions: Snapshots are just easier in P mode and when shooting my brothers at high school rodeos I use the sport mode. I can't retake those and the camera does a pretty good job of picking its own settings.

Depends...

If I want mostly auto or something quick I use P

Anything else I use Av so I can adjust the DOF

For long exposures I use M

Don't usually use Tv because it creates too a too narrow DOF, but if I want to stop action or am using a long lens I'll give it a wirl.

I usually use Av mode, but I've been moving slowly to full manual.

I use a mode that will not engage the stupid flash of mine.
So I use all except Full Auto. But I never use Scene Mode.
I use P, A, S, M, Auto w/o flash.

I use full manual, unless special circumstances are present (e.g. need to take a photo really fast, so i choose either tv or av depending on situation)

I use mostly P mode due to being scared stiff of missing a shot because I still haven't mastered the the modes, buttons, etc. on my camera. But this summer I'm determined to make the move to manual. Wish me luck.
