Thumbs up What's your occupation? . . .

I thought it would be interessting to see the different backgrounds we all here at DPS come from, because I think it influences how we see our own photography. Everyone has his or her angle and many see different things in the same picture. So please let us know what you are doing when you are not out taking photos.

I am an office worker for a Pipeline inspection company here in Houston. I am in the Maintenance department responsible for maintenance preparation. You can see some of the stuff we do on our company website if you are interested.

Rosen USA

Let's se what you are doing.

Right now, stay at home Dad. I hope to change my employment before the end of the year, though, as the kids start heading off to school, but it may have to wait until Spring as we'll be moving just as the school year starts.

I've been working as an air traffic controller in Norway for about five years. I got my degree at University of North Dakota in Grand Forks in 2002.

Im a Financial Director for a company in the UK with branches in Switzerland and Russia.

Between that and my daughter i dont have the time to get out and photo natural beauty, other tha my daughter but then when she grows up i should have mastered the basics and have the time!

In the mean time until then im happy learning and getting treasured memories of my daughter

I voted 'other'.

Technically, I'm a professional photographer (all of my income so far this year has come from photography), but I don't do contract work, and I don't have my own business. Neither do I work at a studio or anything. I don't really go around telling people I'm a professional photographer though, because I don't make nearly enough to live off of.

I work as a Systems Engineer for a large computer storage manufacturer. Before that I worked at a financial institution and before that I worked at an ISP (before the days of broadband). All in technical IT related positions.
