I marked other because currently I'm unemployed. Up until the beginning of this year, I worked full time for a petroleum products distributor in the four corners area (NM, CO, AZ, UT). The company was privately owned until about 3 years ago. They were purchased by another company, who in turn was purchased by another refining company. At the beginning of this year they decided to move my duties (accounts payable and accounts receivable) to their office in Phoenix and eliminated my position. I figured after twenty years of working I deserved a little time off. I’ve spent the last several months traveling and taking pictures. I have one more trip planned in July…an Alaskan cruise! My dream vacation and I’m hoping to get some good photos! After that I’ll be looking for another job…

I chose other because I am currently a student.. After this I will be a (hopefully) registered nurse. Not my choice of occupation, but it's what I have.

I'm a full time On-Site Apartment Manager. I do leasing and maintenance and some of the grounds. It pays for my nice house on site. I'm also a part time Licensed Massage Therapist. I'm looking to take some more school in the future (including some photography)
We'll see how it goes.
I'm also full time mom and wife! Can't forget about those jobs!

Red face

Middle school technology and math teacher in an near-urban (Title I for those that understand the lingo) school in Texas.

Amazingly enough it beats the accounting, banking and non-profit management positions I've held in the past!

Smile Occupation

After 24 years as an elementary school teacher, including 7 years as principal of two different schools, I am now an online instructor for a home school curriculum provider. In addition to teaching home schoolers, I also create online assessments, as well as review videos. The job has the best of both worlds....still teaching children but without the stresses of being in a traditional classroom or being principal. I never would've guessed I'd be working at a job that involved so much technology! It's been a real learning experience!

Photography has become a recent hobby for me, but already word is out in my office about my interest, and I am often asked to capture various events with my camera. As people pass by my cube, they always comment on the variety of pictures I have as my screen saver slide show.

Great fun!
