Default Weekly Poll: What kind of camera bag do you use?

A short question this week, but maybe it will help some people who are looking for camera bags. This week the question is: What kind of camera bag do you use?

I started out with an over the shoulder crumpler (the 5 Million Dollar Home), but eventually grew out of it. Now, because I have more stuff to carry around, I use a backpack (the name escapes me at the moment) which has a tripod holder as well as enough room for my camera, lenses, flash, and still has a space or two to grow. The other thing I like about the backpack is that it helps distribute the heavy weight of the bag more than an over the shoulder bag. The disadvantage of it for me is that I don't like keeping my bag behind me where I can't see if someone is getting into it. So, what kind of bag do you use?

I started with a Lowepro Nova 4. Now I use a Lowepro Slingshot 200 AW. It is starting to get a bit cramped, and sometimes it is uncomfortable/unwieldy. I've been looking at the Lowepro Fastpacks which are a backpack version of the Slingshot. They look more comfortable, but I'm not sure they would have much more room. There will never be a "perfect" bag though.

I have both. I got the sling bag first and I outgrew it. Now I have the Tamrac Adventure 7. The Adventure bag is easier to get to and see my equipment.

I have a Lowepro Orion Trekker II and love it! Great bag, very comfortable, and lots of extra room for "kid stuff".

I started out with the Lowepro Micro Trekker, and have made the switch to the Slingshot 200 AW. The only issue I have with the Slingshot is the fact that it's really designed for someone taller than I am, but other than that - it holds everything I need quite nicely

I have the Tamarac expedition 3.
It works for me to carry everything I need, so far. Since it is on the smaller size I know that I soon will need to get something bigger.

I just ordered a Tamrac Explorer 10 camera bag. I wanted something a little smaller since I don't have a lot of extras at the moment. I figured once I acquired more lenses, I could always get a bigger bag. I was looking at the Tamrac Velocity sling pack, but wasn't sure if I would like the sling type backpack. Does anyone have a sling pack? How do you like it?

I have a Canon backpack. It's big enough to carry everything I have and fairly comfortable. I bought it because it was cheap; $35 w/o the tripod they're offering with it now. I like it for what it holds and how it keeps my hands free.
I also own a smaller non-camera backpack I adapted for use as a camera bag. I like it because it doesn't scream "Camera bag!" and holds my camera with lens atteched and 1 extra lens.

I originally purchased a Canon camera bag and boy does it scream CAMERA; plus it was not comfortable to carry. I recently purchased a Case Logic SLR and Laptop backpack. I like it because it is a backpack and looks like any other backpack. I've not outgrown it yet and I don't have to carry two separate bags and I always have my camera and laptop with me when I go back and forth to work. I caught my on sale.

DIY camera bag. It's the only way to go.
