how many photos do you take ?

i just fliped my camera counter over for the 6th time... it flips at 10,000 pictures. so i grabed my box out of my drawer, i keep it for resell purposes, and checked my reciept of almost exactly 2 years ago.

thats 30,000 picts a year. i didn't realize i take that many :>

I have roughly 12,000 in my Lightroom library since 2006. I delete lots and lots.

I have no idea!! Too many! Sometimes when I forget to empty my card I get caught out with a memory card with no space so I have to delete bad shots on the spot which can be annoying!!

I'll have to keep track from no on (don't think it will be 10000 tho!!)

I have no idea how many pictures I have taken. I do have 88gig worth of files saved on my external hard drive though. That is really neat that you keep a number count. I would be curious to know how many pictures I have taken. Great idea.

I have no clue what my count is. Wouldn't yours actually be 60,000 since it flips @ 10,000 and its flipped 6 times?

He mentioned that it was 6 times in 2 years (thus the 30,000 per year).

I've only got about 6000 on my camera right now, and I've had it not quite a couple of months. However, I've taken as many as a thousand in a day, so it varies. It'll probably be six months before I can really tell (average) what my usage will be.

When I first started out with digital photographhy I kinda went crazy with the pictures. Probably took over 10k photos in the first month or two. Now I take a lot fewer pictures but generally the quality of the pictures is a lot better and I dont have a lot of duplicates or improper exposures etc... like I used to.

As for a total amount I really cant say... probably close to 100k

I changed my camera to reset the counter with each upload... but, before I did that I was at 3,000 pics, and I had the camera for 3 months... so, going by that average... 12,000 a year? Yea, that's about right
