I did 1200 in a day at an airshow Pain to sort through afterwards, but... anyways, like other people already said, continuous shooting.

My overall count is just over 21,000 according to Photoshop. I guess it could be worse lol Like others have said (again), I used to do more shots, but now I have more that I'm happy with, so I'm taking fewer than I did at the start.

I don't know. I usually shoot about 500 a day when I go out someplace to shoot photos. I delete quite a few.

in my shame i have to admit that nearly 18 months after buying my d80 i have amassed a fraction under 3,500 shutter releases i have sinned and shall be punished.

I'l also point out that about 800 of those were in one day about a month after getting the camera at an R/C race day.

I am getting better though, i am going out with my camera more this year than in the 12 months before combined!

I have done a few thousand.

I recently noticed some blotches, almost like circles of lights in a recen shoot which annoyed me only really shows on black though. Is this some sort of dust or just flare?

Guess that im on the really low end of the scale - my camera has only about 1500-2000 shots on it at most.

I guess i dont tend to "spray and pray" very much as i tend to be shooting mainly landscapes and static events where i spend longer setting up and getting my settings right than actually shooting!

That might change when i eventually buy a 40D!

I average about 80-100 shots a day and that's on a "normal" day when there's not an event or anything special going on. If I am out somewhere where there are lots of interesting things to shoot then I usually take a few hundred. At 80 a day for three months though, that would be about 7200 to date.

I am running to the 250gigs of photographs at this time. But there are 7 years of the Albuquerque Hot Air Balloon Fiesta in there and thats about a 500 shots per day for 9 days. Now that I have gotten serious in my photography I expect to fill up my 500 gb hard drive quickly. I refuse to get rid of any shots. Why...

I dunno.

I have just loaded a Route 66 folio into my Zenfolio site and I'm not very happy with it. Not anything I can put my finger on though. I will have to look at it tomorrow.

But that is not moving anything off my drive. Just adding it to the internet.

I think I may take too many shots of one subject but I have nothing to base that against. Perhaps 10 to 15 depending on the complexity.

Woops.. chattering on again
