All day yesterday, it would appear that an automated 'bot' was trying to access my account on here, as I was persistantly locked out from logging in under the 5 tries in 15 min rule....
Has this happened to anyone else recently?..

YES--it happened to me yesterday, too. I thought it was weird given that I did not log on until the evening and it did say that I "tried to log on too many times and to try 15 minutes later."

looks like it's cleared up today.
edit: but it still keeps logging me in/out when I click on certain threads :/

Yup me too. On 3/8/20012 locked out all day, tried resetting passwords - waiting the 15 minutes and it wouldn't let me in. keep saying I violated the number of login attempts (even on the first attempt) This morning I was able to get back in and reset my password...no issues today.

That's weird. I never log out, so maybe that's why I didn't notice anything, but that's crazy. Kinda creepy to see DPS accounts under attack.

I had issues accessing the site: It simply wouldnt load. But once it did, I had no problems. I stay logged in though.

Same here yesterday. As with ArmySoldier I never log out, but someone logged me out yesterday and I could not log in again. Mesaage saying all my login trys had been used up.
Today it is fine
