Default Can You Identify This Bird? -- A European Starling

Photo & Video Sharing by SmugMug

I only had time for a quick shot through the screen hence the grainy picture. Taken at our bird feeder in northern New Jersey. The body was about 4 inches.

Thank you to those who responded. It definitely is a juvenile European Starling,

I agree with BuddhaPi; European Starling, it's young (juvenal) not in adult plumage yet.

My first thoughts were a starling too. Used to get LOADS of them here, don't think I've seen one for a while though - or maybe I'm just not looking.
