Default Kodak exiting digital camera market

Kodak announced today that they are getting out of making digital cameras, and instead will be concentrating on photo printing.

The basic statement from their site (linked above) reads:
Quote:
Kodak plans to phase out of the market for dedicated capture devices – digital cameras, pocket video cameras and digital picture frames – during 2012 to focus its Consumer Business on desktop inkjet, online and retail-based printing – areas that offer the most significant opportunities for profitable growth. Kodak will continue to offer camera accessories and batteries, which are universally compatible with other brands.

We appreciate you choosing Kodak products. Please be assured that we will continue to honor all warranties, and provide technical support and service for our cameras, pocket video cameras and frames.

Last time I purchased Kodak was a bunch of inkjet paper that was 1/2 off at Home Depot.
Unfortunately for Home Depot, the shelf stocker forgot to change the 1/2 off prices and I went in and purchased everything they had for 1/2 off. 8.5 x 11 inch paper, 11 x 17, and 13 x 19 inch paper. Cleaned them out and only spent $600.00 or so. Their manager was pretty pissed. I still have a bunch stored on a shelf underneath my desk.
