Default I'm bummed

GRRRR, Been saving awhile for the Olympus 35-100 lens. Today I pushed the buy button and was super excited to have it for my trip to Vegas in a couple of weeks. Feeling like a kid at Christmas, I pushed the buy button and sat back with a heavy sigh of relief. The time had come to get the lens I've been wanting forever.
I get the email confirming my purchase. And then.............................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. ............. I get the second email saying its on back order for 3 to 5 weeks. I wanted to cry

Pick up a Canon or Nikon body and purchase a 70-200 straight off the shelf in a camera store. Just check for availability first.
My sister, a Canon shooter, wanted to try a "good" lens on a shoot a couple of months ago. I lent her my 70-200 F4 L and she was wrapped and an hour or two latter she purchased one in a camera store -- from a choice of 4 types.

Did you check B&H or Adorama? According to their website they both have them in stock. Adorama even has a used one.
