Ok, probably not one for the vegetarians among you, but here's a question for the meat eaters. I'm going to make it into a poll
If you were only allowed one meat (Land animal) ever again, which would it be? Pork? Beef? Lamb? Duck? Chicken? Horse? Ostrich? Wappatti? Deer? Something else entirely? My wife occasionally buys Horse steak for a special treat, and occasionally beef. However She's French and I'm British, and we roast beef in a very different way and I don't really enjoy Horse or beef steaks.. But you put roast lamb, or a rack, or even a chop, infront of me and I'll be drooling.. Definitely for me, if I had only one meat, it would be lamb.. But what gets you drooling?

Mmmm, Venison first. Venison tenderloin, stew, steaks oh man. I don't get Venison often (especially since moving back to Florida) but it sure is my favorite.
Second would depend on the animal quality. Beef here is Florida is horrible but a good grass fed beef Ribeye or Porterhouse steak is right up my alley. Only to be outdone once in a while by breaking out the smoker and doing up some Pork Ribs, Pork Picnic or Brisket. OK, I'm officially hungry!!!

My favorite would be lamb too. But not meat from wool sheep as it tends to be more gamey in flavor. I prefer the meat from hair sheep, it's amazing! However, after having personally tended to several newborn hair sheep lambs, it'd be very difficult to eat them. Used to get the meat from my parents as they raised the sheep. Dad sold them off a few years ago,as he was getting to old to care for them.
Next best would be a nice juicy steak.
