Hey guys, I'm currently in high school right now and this year I will start applying for colleges. And as photography as a serious hobby, I've aspired to become a photojournalist. One of the colleges I found that actually specializes in teaching photojournalism is Brook's Institute. I was wondering if anyone is currently attending this or attended Brook's and I would appreciate it if you guys gave me some info on it (How is the campus itself? Do you actually learn? etc.) I've actually been planning to apply for this institute now. Thanks in advanced

Haven't been there myself, but my department chair at Syracuse was a Brooks grad. It's definitely a legit school, though I'm not sure how good they are on the journalism side. Right now it looks like UNC, Syracuse and Mizzou are the top photoj schools.

I remember a few years back they were slammed because on of their promises to students is that you got hired right out of school. However, that's not the case in the real world.
