Question Vintage
hey,

Need some help here.There is this contest I would like to enter and the theme is kind of stumping me....

any ideas on "vintage"... that is the theme. (anything goes)

Isnt the point of a contest for you to show how you can take a concept and turn it into a great photo?

i was thinking 50s pin up.... but i am not sure...being appropriate and all...

I'd say by today's standards 50s pin ups are very tasteful and tame. Can't see that offending anyone, unless the comp is being run by an ultraconservative church group?

When I think of something "vintage", I think of something old or antique. Vintage cars, vintage books, vintage clothes, even vintage baseball cards. You could even use a subject that is more modern and give it a vintage look with some filters and the like. Really, I think it would be up to you and what your definition is. Take the picture, and try to convey what you feel to other people.

How about a 50's pin-up with a glass of wine?

At least you can enjoy one of the vintages after the shoot.
