Question How do you imbed photos into threads?

Can you embed photos into threads if you do not use flicker or any other photo sharing sites? For the past couple of months I have simply attatched the few photos I have decided to share, but I would like to get them embedded into the thread if I can.

I had looked at that and all image posting related faqs are answered with procedures on how to post images from photosharing sites. I guess I will take that as I can only attatch my images because I do not use any of the mentioned sites. Thanks

A little trick: attach your image, then do a preview. Right-click on the thumbnail in the preview and select "Copy Link Location". Go to where you want to insert the picture in your posting, click the "picture" link in the toolbar, and paste the link.

You'll then have the whole image in your posting plus the thumbnail shown as attached. Do not delete the attached image to try to get rid of the thumbnail, or your whole image go away.

Worked like a charm! Well done with the computer hackery explanation lol If anyone glances at this who wants to do the same take note. On Windows 7 it is going to be "copy shortcut" rather than "copy link location". And the "picture" link in the toolbar is actually the link that says "Insert image". After trying the technique the first time I just had to go back and shrink my images. Your'e awesome Doug, thanks!
