Just downloaded the trial of Lightroom3. This has to be the greatest thing since sliced bread
. I really love the way it works. Color editing and sharpening seems to be much easier than in Elements.

I've used Photoshop since the mid-90s, so for a long time I couldn't figure out why I would need Lightroom. Then during the 2010 Christmas season Amazon had a really good sale price, so I figured I'd take the risk. Now, the moment LR4 goes live I'm upgrading. I hardly ever hit PS any more for my personal photography.

It would be worth you getting LR3 at 50% less at the moment. Last edited by gturner; 01-24-2012 at 06:57 AM. |

Gotta say, I use LR every day. I use PS once or twice a month when I find a photo to add to my portfolio and want to "perfect" it. If I were a pro photographer, I'd probably use PS a lot more, but I've just downloaded LR 4 beta and it looks very very promising.. I think I will be upgrading when it comes out.
If I didn't have PS for work, I wouldn't use it at all, it's far too expensive for what I use it for.
