About 10 years ago I was staying at a hotel in Brissy with a friend of mine. We went down to the carpark early in the morning, had to go pick her daughter up for a modelling job. Dropped the bags in the boot, jumped in the car etc. Now every step of the process I was one behind her as I'd shut the boot. So when she shut the door, I was just getting , as she did up her seatbelt I was shutting the door etc. As my friend went to start the car, just after I'd done up my seatbelt, she suddenly screamed, popped her seatbelt and leapt out of the car running out of my line of vision. Leaving me in the car!!!!
Meanwhile I'm frantically looking at her side of the car, trying to see what made her scream and run away, at the same time trying to undo my seatbelt & find the door handle, all without looking.
I finally found the door handle and jumped out to find her standing several feet away at the back of the car. A little disturbed by this stage I asked her what was wrong. There was a huntsman on the dash!
Oh dear, is that all? I said. It was rather large and it moved a bit quickly so she went and got the porter to try to get it out of the car. By time they came back I'd caught it and dropped it on the ground - my friend though I was terribly brave & even the porter was impressed. It was only a hunstman!!!!
As we were driving away from our park, my friend tried to run the poor thing over! "I don't like spiders" she says.

BTW, she's an expat Kiwi

I had to share this video, of another reason to move. We haven't had much snow here in the valleys of Utah until this past week or so, this was taken on street in Bountiful, Utah. Enough of the spiders and such lets watch cars slide and listen to crunching metal.
