Gear insurance in the UK

Hi, not 100% sure this is the right place, but wanted to ask for advice....

I have just had a look at my home/accidental cover for my camera kit, and it basically covers nothing, even though I have declared the camera stuff as 'high risk items'

In the small print it states that all of my kit would be dealt with as 'one' item, rather than individual items, with a maximum limit of £1500, which is way below (like a factor of at least 5) what it would cost me to replace.

Anyone else in the UK have any advice about camera insurance?....

I think I have all my insurance with A-Plan, public liability and kit insurance
