Ah, now see... changing the content is different than using post to change contrast, color adjust or curves - even cropping and straightening as all these can be done in a tradition darkroom... adding textures too... when I read your comment about changing the CONTENT, my first though was removing and/or adding items to the photo that weren't there in the first place - like a tree branch or even a person. But I think most of the adjustments that can be - and usually are used by most - made in Lightroom, Photoshop or other software relates to a physical darkroom.

Anyways, that's my piece heh... I know this is just a poll and not a is it wrong or right discussion thread

Me too - still learning how to use it and find helpful easy "how to do" information.

I do minimal post-processing, usually to adjust for the limitations of my point-and-shoot camera, like a bit of cropping or tweaking the contrast. I don't like heavily processed photos as much, even though they seem to be very popular on Flickr.

Most of mine are straight out of the camera. I'm happy with the results, but occassionally feel some post processing would make things better. I just need the patience to learn Photoshop better (I usually use someone else's computer for this) or I need to learn the Gimp (since it's free).
