Yes, I have issues with my height too. I'm 5'5." But most of my subjects stand at less than a foot tall. Hard to get down low enough to their eye level. But then again, I'm shooting mostly dogs & cats. LOL Sometimes, I can raise the smaller animals up on a platform which certainly helps. But it doesn't work with all the pets.

Don't worry Grace, think of the benefits of being pocket size: you eat less than larger people so the money you save on food can go towards new photog gear
![]() Seriously, I understand your complaint - my mother is just over 5 feet (or was once) and though she never complained really, she did have her limitations. Nothing that couldn't be overcome in some way. So, I guess a pair of stilletos is out of the question for photo shoots?

I have a wedding to do in a couple of weeks and I made sure that there's a ladder in the venue ![]() Just as well that I photograph children 90% of the time so my height is not an issue. But it's the adults that I really struggle with and it's getting annoying shooting up all the time. I take candid photos 98% of the time so it's hard for me to set up myself and shoot this way. It's the taller subjects that really makes it hard.Just as well you don't shoot giraffes! Then you'd have to climb a tree. Sometimes I feel I should be shooting from a tree.... |

With my height though, I think it calls for elevator shoes. Bring back the 70's!! |

I am 5'2" and I was crawling on my belly to take the calf picture.

That's not ALWAYS true lol. Some of my shortest, skinniest friends that I've had can sit down and eat more food than I could ever imagine... It's like their stomachs are blackholes... Just look at who usually wins the eating contests lol, it's usually the little guy lol.

Yup. I'm 5'5", and it drives me nuts sometimes. There's a reason I want a camera with a flip-out LCD.
