Default Tomorrow is Christmas!

Tomorrow is Christmas for all of those whose church follows the Julian Calendar, including Russian, Serbian (Serbian Orthodox Church is my church), Bulgarian, Romanian, and Greek Orthodox Churches, as well as many others.

I will be at my grandparent's place tomorrow (which has no access to internet) so I wanted to tell you this today.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Merry Christmas Milosh, I thought it was on the 6th? Today is Kings day in Switzerland, so I'm absolutely stuffed from Kings cake!

Thanks everyone! Christmas is gone and now it's time to loose some weight.

Lisa, no, actually only the church follows the Julian calendar, the official state calendar is the Gregorian calendar, just like in the rest of the world. There is a religious New Year on 14th of January (the two calendars differ by 14 days) which is also celebrated, but the international New Year is considered to be the "real" one. We have a church service on the night of 13th January which is held to welcome the new year.

Thanks for the explanation Milosh. I thought afterward it might've sounded like a stupid/rude question but if you don't ask, you don't learn.
Cheers
