Let me see..

I've done a lot of travelling for work and pleasure.
I've been promoted.
I've had a photo printed in a photo mag (Although it won't be out until 6th January 2012)
I've spent more days with a smile than with a frown.
My photography has improved beyond my expectations.

But the thing that I'm most proud of..

I've developed a relationship with a charity in Brazil that helps take young girls get out of the sex trade, and my direct intervention has resulted in several young people being given a second chance in life. I'm pleased to be continuing to develop this in 2012.. It's a real reward to know that because I exist, someone somewhere has a life without sexual abuse. I encourage everyone to get occasionally involved in charity work.. Not only are you helping other people, it also helps you to appreciate what you have in life.

lets see...

Survived another year...
Decided I would be a full time photographer instead of only when I can make the time...
Got photos published in my first national and international magazines...
Got more photo work than I actually have time to do...
Got a weekly photo layout in a local magazine/paper thing...
Climbed to the top of Mt. Wai'ale'ale (One of the 3 wettest places on earth)...

not much else really. I need to work on that life list of top 100 things to do. Only about 40 of them done so far... hmm...

Well I haven't been nearly as busy as you.

I homeschool 2 kids-grades 4 and 6. So this keeps me busy all day.

In my off time I:

Help organize our church's Women's Ministry
play the guitar, sew, bake, make cards, fish, cook, clean, take lots of pics, edit lots of pics, scrapbook lots of pics.

and then I

I study and try to learn how to do all the above better. LOL.

Goals next year, continue balancing all the above and get better at each thing. Learn to take better pics, learn to work with raw images, learn how to sew stuffed bears (better). Complete some scrapbooks. (And hopefully get the basement remodeled.) Oh and take up hiking (A hobby that will add to photography.) If only I could have more hours a day.

I've started photography and have learnt a lot about it this year. I have even published some of my photos in my blog and I've some waiting to be processed.

Another thing I accomplished is that I digitized all my arts (paintings and sketches) using photography and published them in my blog. So, 2011 is a great year for me as a beginning of the wonderful journey into photography!

I hope to get a good camera in 2012 that will change a lot of things drastically. However, that's just my hope, my aim is to be independent, and start a simple business of any kind that provides me a good return!

Pretty simple for now!

Pretty much that I lived through this year.

We've been through so much this year, it sucks. My MIL had several strokes over the past year, the worst was in Oct.My son's been in the hospital with pneumonia(he's 5), husbands been pretty sick too. I guess it's the weather lol(texas goes back and forth between cold and hot).

I started enjoying photography more. I want to buy some speedlites and umbrellas and attempt to go from there as a business Hopefully 2012 is WAY BETTER than this year.

The only thing keeping me sane is that I have hope that life will get better. We've hit rock bottom, and there's nothing left to do but climb up.
