Default Preparations
I've just spent the past hour peeling and chopping potatoes in the living room.. My step-daughter is in the kitchen making delicious chocolate smells waft through the place. When she's done, I've bagged the kitchen to precook the tatties and prepare the meat. This year we decided against turkey and have gone for roast lamb, yumm...

My wife's presents are wrapped. The kids aren't. (Nor are their presents! He he!) but they're going out tonight with their dad.. So we have a fairly relaxed Christmas eve ahead of us..

Shower, check, make up on, check, hair done, check, clothes laid out ready to roll, check! We're off to my sisters for lunch today, friends for dinner tonight at our place... going to be a busy couple of days. Merry Christmas and safe travels to all!

Presents all wrapped and under the tree, going to my brother-in-law's place tonight, All the stuff is ready for our Christmas morning brunch, so all's well in my world.
I think I'm gonna take a nap, just to be well rested for tonight.
Merry Christmas to all and be careful on the road.
Don't drink and drive and watch out for pedestrians. (I walk in my sleep).

We are going to my mother-in-laws early tomorrow so my husband and children had roast lamb and all the trimmings and present swapping earlier on this evening so we can get away early tomorrow. Its only 18.48 and I'm already stuggling to type....... hic!

The kittens look soooooo cute in their new collars. They have been spoilt with toys gallore!

Filet mignon tonight and ham tomorrow, so I got the dinners okay. Finished baking today (nut and poppy seed rolls, cookies and fudge), so yes, I'm running a little late this year. Presents aren't wrapped, but it's not as bad as when the kids were little and there was so much more to wrap and hide!

It's funny, when my children were small I was so much more organized. With them grown, it's easier to procrastinate because I have more time, and then I'm scrambling at the end.

Not wrapped a thing yet, loads of presents from everyone else under the tree, Bacon Joint has been cooked and the pork is in the oven for a spread tonight. My Stepdaughter and Grandaughter are with us with the in-laws joining us tomorrow. Alcohol has started to flow and all that is left is to wish all you guys a

It's Christmas morning, almost 6am as I type. Santa must have got lost - no presents under out tree. Oh dear I just realised - we don't have a tree

Our families will meet at our niece's house later this morning (they have a tree) for present giving and Christmas lunch. Heaps of kids to make it fun though it will be a sad one after a recent loss in the family. Hope you all have a great one - stay safe.

My chaos was actually fine until my son used his newfound freedom the wrong way...

You see we gave our 5 yr old a motorbike (50cc offroad piwi), and while learning to ride in the garden he may have crashed into the wooden fence. sigh. It starts....

All's well though - he is back in the saddle and being a bit more cautious. We'll see how that lasts.

But other than that the meal (roast lamb) was a hit and all enjoyed!
