Default OH EM GEE I'm DONE!

I got all my Christmas shopping done in less than a week :-D Financially this month has sucked (thank goodness for the extra pay cheque!) and I didn't get to start until Monday. But between then and now, I got all my shopping done. There's lots more I would have LIKED to buy, but nothing I can afford.

I really only had to shop for mom, dad, and sister. If I wouldn't have bought (or went in with sister and mom) Dad's Kobo Vox, then I would have only spent about $70 each (which is a huge improvement from last year lol).

Are you done shopping yet?
Or have you even started?

Cheers!

Finished a week ago. Actually I finished and then some. The UPS guy brought the last boxes to my house several days ago, and Sunday we met with my wife's sister for X-Ma$$ part 1. They gave me an REI gift card and I spent it after dinner online. Thanks to free two day shipping I got another box today. I almost accomplished my goal of buying 100% online this year. My wife did drag me to several stores to do her shopping, but she was buying clothes which you have to try on in the store... Personally I bought everything for myself and my side of the family online except for a few big ass frames from hobby lobby.

REI? That's funny - my coworker and I were talking yesterday about... something, I can't.. oh Cabella's and how the Canadian version is Whole Sale Sports. Anyway, she said she worked for a shelving company (company that made like industrial shelves and stuff for stores) and one of their biggest customers was REI in/near Seattle. I'd never heard of the place, but now I've heard of it twice in as many days lol

I wish I could buy everything online, but I don't/can't watch my credit card spending as diligently as I should, so it's just easier for me to spend legit money than plastic money that doesn't immediately affect my routine. Real money does, so I watch it closer.

I got my gift shopping finished yesterday, and my food shopping was delivered today (I've recently discovered on line supermarket shopping and I am in LOVE!). So I just have a little wrapping and some food prep to do and I'm sorted. I finished work at mid-day today and now I'm on holiday for two weeks. Looking forward to family days in the sun, too much food and too much wine.

Done all mine now. Sometimes I look around other shoppers in the supermarket thinking is there a food shortage or something. The way their trollies are full to over-flowing anyone would think the world was going to end.
