Why go in a chatroom and not chat? Whay post to say you're not going to post.. Seems a bit strange to be a part of a social network and refuse to be sociable.. The OP is new, doesn't seem to be a SPAM bot, so I don't see what harm you perceive in responding. It doesn't exactly give out any precious information about you.
