Hello Sunrise Enthusiasts--

I have a fun idea that might appeal to you. I've attached the facebook public event page below, but there is also a community page to "like", from where I will send updates, tidbits, suggestions, and reminders. The pages give the explanation of the concept and project. I've also set up a rudimentary blogspot (see above address).

Last Thursday morning, a friend from another state posted a sunrise picture on facebook (from Illinois, USA), and about an hour later, I took a sunrise picture (in Colorado), and thought, "wouldn't it be cool to have people from around the world post their sunrise views on the very same morning". Being from the United States, I think we have most of North America covered, and currently there are 154 "attending" the event. I would love to get others from down under...and from where-ever. I'm wondering if any of you might like to submit a photo of a March 3rd sunrise and post it to the community page....and maybe
pass around the idea to others who may be inclined to contribute.
