Default Fasion Photography...without a model or photographer

Well, technically there is still a little photography involved, but no real model.

Well, they do look a little plastic. Maybe it wouldn't have been quite so obvious if they'd used more than one pose.

I remember when ALL published fashion images showing "skimpy" clothing HAD to be done with mannequins and must show proof of this in images (missing head leg etc.) per postal regulations.

Am I odd? If I wanted to look at boys in their underwear I'd get a job at Penn State....

I was thinking about this recently. All the fat hate and athletic look being desirable. The way everyone berates the magazines and papers for showing athletically built people saying "that isn't how people are".

And I've come to the conclusion, that it's an entire bag of shit. That IS what people are supposed to look like (bodywise). If mankind hadn't turned into such slobberish, lazy bastards, we would all still be fit, healthy and athletic. People only don't look like that now because they don't care about their health and over indulge in everything. Survival of the fittest no longer exist in humans.

I'm not going to argue that as a population we haven't gotten away from being fit....we have.

But that is not what women are "supposed to look like". That's not "athletic", it's anorexic. There's no muscle tone or structure to really speak of..all hard angles and bones.

Women are supposed to have curves. In fact, studies have shown that the recognition and attraction to those curves is an instinctual response in most men.

And I don't think that survival of the "fittest" (as in speed/strength/etc) ever really existed for humans as a species. If it did we never would have made it. If you are talking about intra-species survival, it didn't really exist their either (maybe in the time of cave men).
