Default I laughed so hard at this,..

Our dog never does this, so of course I had to grab my point and shoot ( it was closest ) and get a video of it.

Our Ausky Chasing Her Tail - YouTube

YouTube either didnt have the correct kind of code for DPS, or it just didnt want to work for me. So, I had to link it.

LOL, that was so funny. I really needed that laugh tonight, thank you. I've never understood what the purpose of chasing your own tail is lol, but maybe I'm just missing the fun because I don't have one lol.

Experts now know that breathing in someone else's secondhand smoke can make you chase your tails.

Hilarious FG!

I don't hate dogs... I just don't want one in my house or yard. I think they are nasty, smelly and needy. People have to arrange their whole life around the darn things. Every house I've ever been in where someone owns a dog, smells. no thanks. I don't want your dog running up and sniffing, slobbering on me either. I don't care that he doesn't bite and is just being friendly, keep it away from me.

But the video was funny.

My dog is not nasty.. He's smelly though, I'll grant you that. And he likes to chase his tail, which usually results in something getting broken. But hey, he's loving, and loyal, and nobody would break into our house because when they look through the window to see if anyone's home, they'll see a 50kg black labrador staring back at them!

If you don't like dogs, don't come round mine.

As a farm boy who had loads (6-10 at any one time) of them running around I could never understand that thought process.

And when I moved to the city and my last dog died I hesitated before getting my next one as I was also moving house at the time.

That was 9 years ago and I really do not miss the smell, noise, hair and most of all, the dog crap in the yard.

I love dogs! All sizes & all breeds...even ones who smell doggie (they can't help it). Very cute FG! Good catch!

To those who don't like dogs, you're definitely entitled to your opinions but:

Not all dogs smell bad. Mine is very clean! Not all dogs slobber or are otherwise messy. My house doesn't smell like "dog" either. He is housetrained & doesn't do his business inside. The only tell tale sign in our house is some dog hair. I vacuum & sweep, but it returns as fast I can remove it. He's not very vocal. He takes up little space & he never complains if I have to leave him behind. He is friendly (except with cats). His one big vice is that he can't hold his licker.

I spent 18 years without a dog, & not a day went by that I didn't miss having one. Yes, I do have to take him outside to go potty & daily walks. Yes, we do have to plan & make arrangements for him. But one has to do that for any living creature (even fish have some requirements). He also travels with us, goes on hikes & long walks. He never complains or balks at our outings. He may look like a froo froo dog, but he's been known to cross streams & climb up steep rocky hills with no problem. And he's better behaved than some kids I have known (including my own!). We carry poop bags when we go anywhere. We never leave his waste behind to mess up trails or gunk up sidewalks. I wouldn't change a thing about my dog.
