Hey Everyone!
I'm new to this forum and am excited about going through the posts. I actually have a question to throw out there. I've been teaching photography workshops for kids and actually have a class today. We are in week 9 of a 12 week session and I'm starting to run out of ideas on what to teach them!! The kids range in age from 8 to 10 and all have a point and shoot camera. We cover a different topic in class each week and then I give them assignments to do at home. We then review the photos the following week. Their attention span is really short and their energy is really high! We meet at their school and have been in the art room. When the weather is nice I take them out. I have lots of ideas fro assignments but still need more topics to cover in my lessons. My previous classes have been shorter - more like 8 weeks but this one is longer. Any fun suggestions on what to cover? Rule of thirds perhaps?? Thanks! |

How about "Capturing Movement" or "Telling a story through pictures"

What have you already covered? If you're looking for new ideas for the next few weeks it wouldn't be too helpful if we made suggestions you've already used.
