Default Sony A200 Manual Settings

Hello All,

How can I use Manual mode on my Sony A200? When I set the camera to use this mode I seem to only be able to alter the Aperture. Thank you as always,

Best wishes
Graeme

Hi Graeme, I have the A350 but I've looked and your back display is very similar. It sounds like your "wheel" changes the aperture where as mine changes the shutter speed, I believe you can set the wheel to one or the other, I've never looked because I'm happy with my wheel doing the shutter speed. To get the ss(or in my case the aperture) hold down the AV button while turning the wheel. Hope that works?

I have an a200 and a580. In manual, the wheel will change the shutter, like Kiwi said, hold in the AV button (top right +/- on it) and turn the wheel at the same time and that will change your aperture.

Or, again as Kiwi said, I think in the menu you can reverse it. But that's definately the button you want to hold in
