Default Too long time to take the pictures ;(

Hi,

My name is Diego from Brasil, I have a doubt about shutter speed...I have a Sony HX9V, when I need to take pictures to my kids, it camera take a long time to shoot (take the picture) and some times I lost the good moments, DO you recommend to me any other camera faster to take the picture? or do I need to adjust any parameters, I use always Automatic option, The max amount that I can spend is US$ 500.
Regards,
Diego

What you're looking for is a camera with a shorter "SHUTTER LAG". This is the time between you pressing the shutter button and the camera taking a picture.

Full HD movie recording is also slow to start and stop. Finally, Zoom is slow to register, especially if you've just captured an image. You really have to adjust your timing to work with the HX9V, and plan ahead.
