Thumbs up Photo Forum Abbreviations

I found this on the internet- I thought some people would find it helpful.

It's a list of all the photography abbreviations used on most photography forums, with the full meanings.
I know when I first joined DPS, I had no clue what all those abbreviations meant! So hopefully this will help some of the newer members know what we're all talking about.

QFT - Quoted for truth.. When someone says something profound that you can really relate to.. Or more often because they've said something profoundly dumb and you quote them because they think the OP might change it after stirring up trouble.

TFS - Thanks for sharing.

This is a great thread and great idea. We have so many newcomers that don't know most, if not, all of the abbreviations we use here and the more seasoned forum users use abbreviations a lot.

Heck, even I don't know half of the list!

So cheers for this and I hope others keep adding on the list.

Thanks for the new ones, guys! Keep them coming!

I'll add them to the list later when I have time. Right now, it's been a long day, and I just want to sit here and not have to think about anything... LOL

Thanks, I thought so too.

Yeah, I found some that I hadn't heard before too! Maybe we'll start using some of them that we don't use already!

Hey... maybe if the Mods made this thread a Sticky or something, all the new people could find it better.

Just an idea.

I think it's a good idea! I didn't know a lot of them! I keep going back to this to see what something means... It would be a whole lot easier if it was a Sticky!
