Roderick, if you keep removing cookies, of course you'll have this problem. Cookies are not an "evil" thing, they're just how websites store local info about you, such as your logged-in status.

Thanks for your info. I understand what you say about cookies. When I think about it my privacy setting is set rather high and therefore preventing most cookies. I have always felt that cookies are the reason for spam getting into PCs. Am I wrong about this? Although I do go on other sites that have "remember me" boxes and these work ok. Perhaps this particular website requires more cookies than the others. Cheers. PS. I have just noticed that when logging off, this website clears all cookies automatically! Did you see my PS saying that when logging off, this website says that it clears all cookies on exit? |

I have just had another thought. Why would it matter if all cookies are cleared on exit? When logging in next time the cookies would come back again. Is this correct? |

That's correct but the cookies store your login state and information. If you clear them, you'd have to re-enter your information.
Earlier I said he should try clearing them because he may have one stuck on the not-remembering-him setting or something. Clearing your Cache and cookies may help. Try a different browser as well. I'd suggest Firefox or Chrome. Download Firefox Download Chrome |
