Today you can finally write the date the correct way

![]() By the way, only about 5% of the worlds population write the date MDY. By far the largest majority (over 60%) write it DMY, and the rest write YMD (Oddly, those seem to be the countries that normally write from right to left) YMD makes the most sense because you can write the date/time as Y:M H:M:S so the fastest changing number is on the far right, like it is when you write normal numerals. This is the way the clock in your computer works out date/time, it then just displays it according to your regional format.Sorry US, you're in the minority here.. 95% of the world disagrees with you..

The only* correct way to write a date is YYYY/MM/DD. The common US way of writing dates requires a single switch. The common Euro way of writing dates requires a double switch. The US way is more correct (though still wrong).
* For purposes of this thread, anyway.
