My copy of wordperfect used to say you may install it on two computers as long as you only used one at a time. I.e. You could put it on a desktop and your laptop, but if you were on your laptop at work on wordperfect while your wife was using it at home, you were using it against the license. If she shuts it off though you're okay.
WTF? This "license" crap is ridiculous. I bought software... If I have two PCs and a laptop I should be able to put it on all of them.
Corporations are a bit different- I can't see them buying one copy of windows for 700 computers.

Corporations also pay a little bit more than what we do as regular customers.
