Yeah, there is usually an 'upload' button on the albums, but sometimes some albums are 'broken', and you have no way to upload pictures to it. This doesn't happen to every album, just some. Try making another album, maybe that one will work?
I heard that the moderators are working on a fix for this albums problem. Hopefully someone will figure out the problem soon.
