Default What's your favorite Holiday treat?

I know it's still too early for Christmas, seeing as we havent even had Halloween yet. ( In the US at least.) But when I went to the store for a few things yesterday, I saw egg nog in the section with the milk, and had to buy a carton. So, I was wondering. What's your favorite holiday treats?

For me?

Halloween- I have one absolute favorite candy that you can only find at Halloween, and its these lil white candy cigarette type sticks. They have Marvel Comics characters on the lil boxes, and there are two sticks in each box. I also like Mallow Pumpkins, but not as much as the candy sticks.

Thanksgiving- Pumpkin Pie. Hands down. My absolute most favorite Holiday treat. Since it's just the two of us, ( three now ) and most everyone else goes home for the Holidays, we usually go to Cracker Barrel for Thanksgiving. I look forward to it, as I love their Thanksgiving meal, and I dont have to cook anything or clean up afterwards.

Christmas- Chocolate Covered Cordial Cherries, and a Limited Edition Lindor Truffle. The truffles they only put out around Christmas, and theyre milk chocolate on the outside, and white chocolate on the inside. They come in a light blue bag with a snowman on it, and theyre oh so yummy! I also stock up on Celestial Seasonings Candy Cane Lane tea, as its a strictly holiday thing too. And of course the aforementioned Egg Nog. Southern Comfort is my favorite, but obviously without adding any SoCo.

So, What's yours?

Basically anything with mostly chocolate in it (dark or milk, no white please). No coconut/chocolate, cherry/chocolate either.

Thanksgiving (b/c I'm Canadian it comes before Halloween): Home made pumpkin pie from a sugar pumpkin. Yum. I also like Starbucks' Pumpkin Spice Latte.

Halloween: Tootsie Rolls taste like Halloween to me.

Christmas: Mandarin oranges, Terry's chocolate oranges, and Guylian Seashells are must-haves. Growing up (and to this day) my sister and I get a box of Guylian Seashells every year for Christmas.

It's not holiday specific, but anything that involves dark chocolate and mint. That is all I need.

I forgot about those sticks! I used to hate them, but I would eat them anyways. I hated seeing perfectly good candy go to waste.

As for my favourite, I'm a sucker for candy canes. The old fasioned peppermint kind, nothing else. I stock up on boxes of them while they sell them so that I can still enjoy them long after the holidays.

My favorite Thanksgiving treats are my Grandmother's homemade Crescent Rolls, and a yummy Chocolate pie topped with with whipped cream.

My favorite Christmas treat would have to be my Dad's homemade Peanut Butter Fudge, hands down.
In second place, my homemade Cookie dough Truffles are pretty good, too.
And those White chocolate covered Oreos that you buy only around Christmastime are pretty good, too.

Awww, now you've made me REALLY hungry. I can't wait until Thanksgiving now!

We don't have Thanksgiving in NZ and Halloween is just an excuse for retailers to sell trashy costumes and too much sugar. So Christmas is it.
Christmas has been BBQ in recent years although turkey is still the traditional thing to eat.
My favourite treat at this time of the year is Ferrora Rocher (sp?) chocolates. You can get them anytime of the year but someone always gives them as a gift at Christmas so they are sort of a seasonal thing for me.

I'm the one who makes the treats around here.
My sweet vanilla waffles are on the menu for the Holiday Season. As is my banana-chocolate cake.
Halloween isn't such a big thing for us. And since I'm Canadian, Thanksgiving is already over but...

Halloween: nothing specific. I'm a fan of the candy sticks too (I think you mean popeye's, there the main brand)

Thanksgiving: Don't celebrate thanksgiving (well, we have turkey around that time, but only because it gets cheap). And I'm not a fan of pumpkin or squash anyways.

Christmas: Hands down, no question about it, Terry's chocolate orange. It's sooooooo good. And when I crack it, bathing women literally just fall into my home
