Question Sb-900 and Nikon d700
Any other option to work whit my sb-900 and nikon d700 ad if is not remote or su4
I hear something about master mode on sb-900
Any help

Master mode is for the SB 900 to be the controller or master for other flashes like SB600/700/800/900

Your options are:

On camera
Off camera remote mode pop up flash as commander
Off camera SU4 mode any flash as commander because it is just an optical slave
