This was shared with me this morning.. I wanted to share it with all of you.. The truck driver has to have big brass ones.. Plane pilot too! Whooa.. Now that's a hero for you.

Hmm, the way the driver at the end described his truck kinda sounded a little like a commercial. And how convenient that they had that many camera angles.

I was going to call BS....
Landing speed for an airplane like that is around 140 kts (160mph) and it weighs something like 60,000 lbs (w/o gas)

Yup. Nissan commercial. An airplane would have crushed the truck, and any truck that would have supported the weight of the plane wouldn't have been able to get enough speed for the plane to drop the nose gear onto the bed.

Not saying its real or not. But you do have to think about the dynamics of it. You can get a truck up to those speeds. And most of the weight of a plane is near the center, not the front. The front is relatively light considering the full weight. A lot of trucks are rated up to hauling 10,000lbs in the bed...and anything over that just voids the warranty.
