Looks very much like a Pentax ME to me. although it could ba an MX or an MV

A photo needs to start and finish in your imagination, if it passes through your camera in between, that's cool, if it doesn't, that's cool also.

It's not.. The K1000 doesn't have the self timer lever on the front, the K2 looks like another possibility.
