Default Cross Country road trip

I'm going to be taking a cross country road trip in about a month, San Diego, CA to Cleveland, Oh. Just wondering if anyone had any tips on some cool photo stops along that route!

We are planning on hitting vegas, Zion, Arches, but after that our route will depend on the weather... so we are open to lots of ideas!

Utah:

Bryce Canyon NP
Grand Staircase Escalante NM
Capitol Reef NP
Goblin Valley State Park
Canyonlands NP

(All on the road from Zion to Arches)

Colorado:

Colorado NM
Rocky Mountain NP
Pawnee Buttes

Nebraska:

Henry Doorly Zoo, Omaha

Ohio:

Air Force Museum, Wright Patterson AFB, Dayton

Those are pretty much on the straight route. If you have time to take side trips, the number expands significantly.

Great minds think alike! I'm planning an epic 10,000 mile, 100 day trip across America, photographing lost highways and back roads There's a link to the project in my sig

I reccommend hitting Knapp's Castle in Santa Barbara (34° 31' 23.18" N 119° 47' 34.92" W)... It's quite a bit north of SD, but worth it.
