Default The Sun's shining

Here it is, 11.30 on a beautiful Spring Sunday morning. The sun's shining, barely a cloud in the sky, temperature in the mid twenties, I'm planning to go out (buy new golf shoes), beautiful wife getting more beautiful (it takes hours) and what do I find when I log on here, people who should be enjoying our great outdoors, (Richard and Grace) on their computers and not out there taking advantage of our great climate.

Shame I say, shame.

I'm outa here.

Cheers

John W

Well guess what, I've just come home from enjoying that most delicious sun with the family. Three year old maniac ran around Darling Harbour 'swimming' in the fountain. She now displays a nice tan and a half drenched mother who chased after her.

I can make a bet Richard is out watching cricket or something now

Wait, is cricket even on or am I making it obvious how cricket naive I am??

Now what did you do today, John?

I think you should both get your cameras out and PROVE that you're enjoying the weather..

Here the sun is shining, it's nearly 11am and there's frost on the ground... I'm about to take the dog for a walk then we're all going to go Karting... (So long as Micka has finished his homework!!)

Ahhh.. Sundays.. Trop Cool!!!

All day today I kept wishing I had my camera. But with a very active toddler, it just makes it impossible to bring one and take photos.

Had to resort to two photos using my husband's iPhone. So unsatisfactory.

I've been in such photography rut lately. I've been dying to go out and take photos but......

Where is Richard? He must be glued to the news about Simoncelli as well. I'm so gutted I couldn't eat my dinner.

Aaaaccchhhh I think I need to clear my head and put on my camera by the window upstairs and do some very long exposure on the train station across the road. Keep. This. Stupid. Head. Busy. I hope a train comes along or I'll just end up with a 60 second shot of an empty train station at night.

No 28 degrees here.. Still lovely though...

Ahh Grace... Post some pics of your 2 year old.. Doesn't matter about the quality, just that you got A camera out and took some photos.

A beautiful sunny day here in the land of the World Cup Champions
Mum & I went to a garden sale at a beautiful Rhododenron Dell, picked up a couple of plants for only $10 each. Went shopping in the afternoon and home for dinner before settling in for the Rugby World Cup final tonight.
There was a cruise ship in today, a much nicer day for those visitors than Friday's lot when it was pouring with rain. Basking in 21C today and a ditto day tomorrow.

Will dig out some photos of the cruise ship when I get them on the puter.

Just for you, Jon

First photo she ran towards me to show me how much outrageous fun she was having jumping in and out of the fountain area (fountain not in the image). Second one is her on the way back to jump back in.

Summer is here, indeed.

And to think, the weather was like this only a fortnight ago:
