Question Photo to Video - how, what software

I would like to create a small video of some of my photos, but am not sure how to go about doing this. I know lightroom has this feature, but I find that the files are either huge or the quality is crap for small files. Is there some better software that will let me create a video of good image quality that is not huge.

Are you running a Mac or Windows, if the latter you can use (download) windows movie maker, which will do it for you.

Cheers

That program comes on Vista, and 7.

I've used it a couple times, and it worked great. You can have a title, and stuff at the beginning, credits at the end, and add tunes.

+1 for Windows Movie Maker. There is a paid site called Animoto, which I have heard good things about but never used myself.

On a Mac, just use iMovie.

For PC, I would try exporting one of the huge files from LR, then running it through MPEG Streamclip (free) to compress it down to a more manageable size.

Another good alternative for Mac is FotoMagico.
