yello all dps idio... I mean wonderful people
.I'm part of a event at a church and like a imbecile, I signed up for "Anything they needed". Well knowing I'm photo person they asked me to be a "room reporter". Basically I'm supposed to take shots of all the rooms before the event so they know how to put them back. From being there before I know that I will not be able to get most of the rooms with 1 shot from my 17mm. The problem is they want prints, soooo I'm guessing I'm going to have to do some stitching. The problem is I need to stitch upwards of 30 sets of photos in 3 hours, and I cant be there to baby it. So, basically I need a fully automated stitcher. Does anyone know of a way to do this? Hugin does not seem to be able to, and Google did not turn up much. And yes, I will use a tripod so there should not have to be a lot of correction. Thanx

I can't answer your question BUT
since it's just for reference, is it safe to assume they don't care about quality? If not, I know a lot of newer P&S and even some phones have a super easy pano mode, where u just slowly turn and it stiches it for you. You could consider borrowing from a friend/checking if any of your stuff has that mode/ buy a new P&S if you have $100 burning your pockets and that hole just so happens to be shaped like a small camera

Well, I just burned $400 on a s95 (Which does not have it) so maybe not the P&S route. The phone idea is good though, will look into it.

Since it's just a record of how to put everything back, you don't need a pano. Just stand in corner, shoot towards opposite corner. Stand in opposite corner, shoot towards original corner. If necessary, stand in the middle of each wall and shoot towards opposite wall. Print each shot with inkjet printer on plain paper.
