Default Nikon p90 Coolpix

Needing a little advice. I have a Nikon p90 Coolpix camera and I love it. Sport mode during the day takes awesome pictures. My problem is night shots. Any advice on settings for a Friday night high school football game under decent stadium lighting? All of my pictures are coming out grainy. Thanks!

Nope, you have pretty much reached the limits of the camera.
You can shoot "wider" (shorter zoom/wider aperture) to get better ISO performance (less grainy) if that compromise works for you.

Those shots are really challenging; they require big sensors and fast glass to come out at a manageable noise level. In some cases, you might be able to improve your shot with a strobe, but without a hotshoe, that's going to be an uphill battle. I'd say the most productive thing you can do is play with noise reduction after the fact, though this trades detail for noise. Steve's right -- you're shooting at the limits of your camera.
