Default Shutter count

I've always wanted to know what my shutter count is. Now I know. 6538. Thought you guys would like to know yours too. Here's the link Check shutter count online - My Shutter Count.com
I think it only works with Nikon and Pentax though...

2700 odd clicks. Not too shabby for a camera I've had for 3 months.

Your post got me interested in my own shutter count. Since Canon doesn't store the shutter count in the EXIF data, you can search Google for EOS Info, a program designed to give you the data on your camera and download their freeware program. Once you've plugged in your camera, it'll come up with the information in the EOSInfo window

My current shutter count is 8688 on my 450D

almost 600 for my nikon D5100, a camera I haven't even had for a week yet
Granted, many if not most of the pics I've taken so far were just from me experimenting & learned how to use it. Definitely still learning how to use it though, but I imagine once I get a better hang of things with it, my shutter-count-rate will go down.
Sadly, it seems that the site wasn't able to pull up the info for my old fuji point n shoot. I've had that camera for about 2 years now, and I imagine I've taken a few thousand pics with it by now - not to mention my husband used it to sell a bunch of stuff on eBay before we moved up here to Oregon.

Thanks for sharing the site! It'll be interesting to keep up with just how many times I click away on my camera

Since I can't see what my camera's shutter count truly is:
about 5 to6 months.
2492 shots.
16 pictures good enough to show my mom.

I just kept getting an error message, but if you ask my 14 year old he'll tell it would be around a bazillion; give or take a few thousand!
