Default new camera

I have gone from the nikon d40x to the d90, any suggestions for the next step up? Not willing to spend thousands though.

What camera do you use?

I guess the question is what is it that makes you want to upgrade?

And as far as what camera I use, I use the D90 and have done for the better part of 2 years now.

Same here. The D7000 doesn't seem to offer enough of an improvement for the price, and the D300 is getting old, so I'm waiting for the next generation.

What would you be trying to accomplish with an upgrade?

This.
What is holding you back with the D90? I am still using a D40 and a D70 that I bought probably 3rd hand. The only reason I got the D70 was to have some AF with the D lenses I had. I still don't feel like I have hit the wall with either of these.
