Red face A friend in need is a friend indeed <3

Hello photographers

I'm new in here writing .. but 've been visiting for really long time ... and now i think it's time for me to ask for ur kind help .....

I'm about to participate in an exhibition but still didn' print my photos cuz im struggling with the size

i'll be using a stand of 190 cm*105 cm ( compulsory).... my photo is black and white and vertical ... of a guitarist with his back to the camera which shows his guitar clearly and a cat on his shoulder ....

now what do u think is the best size for such photo that will fit my stand AND will serve the essence of the photo??

mind my poor English for it's not my mother language

Thank you alottttttt .....

Welcome to DPS. It would help to know how many pixels you have to work with, and how many inches are there in 190cm x 105cm. I'm kind of lazy to start doing math right now.

Most people suggest 300DPI for printing. Do a little math, and use that as a starting point.

190cm = 74.8 inches or 6 ft 2 inches
105cm = 41.3 inches or 3 ft 4 inches.

My suggested size is xpixels/300

ETA: I`d also suggest using the same/similar aspect ration as the stand
