Default Wish me Luck

I am doing a "try out" on Saturday. Going to go shoot some wedding portraits for an hour with a very busy studio here. They like my work and just want to see me interact with live people, so I get to go out and play with them for a bit.

I have already signed the contract, and they want to work with me, so all I have to do is not kill the bride with a light stand or let my turrets free.

I won't get rich doing this, but I can live with it. $50/hr for local stuff, burn & turn... easy breezy.

They book about 60 weddings a year, so they should be able to book me about 2-3 weddings a month during the 7 months or so that make up the season here.

I figure it will be perfect, as they rock at marketing and it is not one of my strengths. I would rather work for someone else than not be out working

That sounds like a really awesome opportunity, best of luck to you (though you don't really need any luck you'll do great)

I'm so jealous. The guy I was gonna do contract work for isnt getting enough business at the moment to need me. Good luck, though we all know you'll do great!
