Default is there a section/part of DPS you never go?

Hi all,
l'm kind of selective reader here on DPS so l'm interested am l the only one? l doubt it, but here l ask you, is there a section/part/forum on DPS you never go to look or read?and why?
I never go to read (at least for now):
- any article or forum about cameras and photography equipment. the reason is that l simply don't have the basic knowledge about it
- Earning with Photography forum, don't have plans in that area
- Competitions forum, not good enough for entering to any contest
- Photo Walks forum, there's no way for photo walk to be organized where l live
- Share Your Shots forum, l've been there maybe once or twice, posted some pictures and got "oh great shot" answers on pictures that are really not great at all. so l realized that l can't learn anything there and that's the main thing about me and DPS, to learn
ok... that's my list
what's yours (if you have it)?

I just click on the "New posts" link and see what's in there.
I read whatever catches my eye, no matter in which section it is.

I never visit the general chit-chat area!

I too use the new posts feature, and browse thru there and read just about everything. Unless it's something specific I need to know or learn..

Typically when I come here I go to Quick Links | Subscribed Threads. There I can see threads I've participated in and if there are new posts. Generally I like to follow threads I've participated in until they die out. I clean out my subscribed threads every couple of months.

Then I go to New Posts to see what's new. If nothing really piques my interest then I'll go to specific forums and browse through them.

Additionally there are certain posters who I will read their threads even if the title doesn't jump out at me. For example, I love LisaH's portrait work and she often posts before & after shots which are great for learning so I always read her threads.

I also really enjoy any thread that is a tutorial, like "How I Shoot The Moon" so I always look for those.

I guess I don't really steer clear of any particular forum.... it's all good

I visit only General Chit Chat and Landscape & Cityscape critique. Sometimes I may take a look at Digital Cameras and Other Photo Gear sections, but that's rare... I know there are some very good sections which I don't visit (like earning, techniques and how I took it), but I just don't have enough time to go though all of them.

I usually just go to New Posts and follow what grabs me. What interests me may cover several other areas. I don't look at the Macro section as I do not have the gear or much interest (yet) for that. I don't visit the Lighting section as I've yet to obtain any external flash equipment.

Like GCG, I do follow several posters for entertainment and learning. I also look at Landscape Critique and use it as a teaching tool. I regularly visit the SYS sections to see how others do things and try to incorperate the things I like into my photography as a learning tool.

I have posted several times in the critique sections and have recieved good feedback.

I've not had much luck in the SYS sections. I'm sure it is due to my images are not yet strong enough to garner a positive response. I do take the no responses with multiple views of my SYS posts as I need to learn more, practice more and improve more to get out of the "they are ok".
