I am in a pinch and need to see if a Nikon Speedlight Flash SB-22sis compatible with a Canon T1i. Does anyone know? If not, what's the best way to bounce my pop-up flash on that particular model?

It might "fire" but I would not call it "compatible"....
I don't think there is any great way to bounce a pop up..maybe a diffuser would be better.

SB-22 should fire, but you'll need to manually set the power level, and you may want to pull the TTL pins for safety. You won't have any ability to do anything but fire the flash, just as if you were using a PC sync cable or cheap all-manual radio triggers. Sync voltage is safe.
Better, really, to use it off-camera with cheap radio triggers like Cactus V5s, though.
